Croutons

Don't let bread go to waste, make croutons.  These croutons are so much better than you can buy.  Makes any salad better!





Ingredients:
8 ounces French Bread Loaf -- cut in cubes (you can use any bread)
1/2 cup butter -- melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Directions:
Heat oven to 300F degrees. Spread cubes on cookie sheet. In small bowl, combine melted margarine and garlic powder; mix well. Drizzle margarine mixture over cubes; toss to coat. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 300F degrees for 30-45 minutes or until dry, crisp and golden brown, stirring occasionally. When completely cool store in a zip lock baggie.  They will stay crunchy for at least two weeks.
